Carolina Beach State Park contains five miles of trails and 700
acres of beautiful natural areas that you are sure to enjoy
while hiking. The Venus Flytrap also grows wild here as well as

North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher
North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is one of three state
aquariums on the NC coast. Alligators, sharks and some
spectacular marine life will entertain the youngest to the

Fort Fisher Historic Park
Fort Fisher Historic Park, the last stronghold of the South, is
the largest earthwork fortification of the Civil War. A museum
of artifacts takes you back to when the land was raw. A slide
show tells of the blockade-runners and the role that the Cape
Fear River played in the Battles of Fort Fisher. Also featuring
a recreation area on the Atlantic Ocean with four miles of
undeveloped beaches. Also available is a public beach access

Cruise & Party Boats are sure to attract many a passerby at
the Carolina Beach Municipal Marina in the center of town. You

Battleship North Carolina
Battleship North Carolina, Wilmington's premier attraction, this W.W.II vessel is well worth the time that it takes to tour
